PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article guarantee system that can accurately determine the day serving as the reference of guarantee start, and enables the application for guarantee subsequently even after the delivery.;SOLUTION: An article guarantee system 1 includes a user terminal 10 and guarantee date determination means 5. The user terminal 10 includes a tracking number transmission unit 10c for transmitting a tracking number. The guarantee date determination means 5 includes a delivery history database 27 for storing a delivery date when an article is actually delivered to a user associated with the tracking number, a delivery date extraction unit 20b for extracting a delivery date associated with the tracking number transmitted from the user terminal 10 from the delivery history database 27, and a guarantee date determination unit 30d for determining at least either one of a guarantee start date or a guarantee end date related to the article based on the extracted delivery date. The guarantee date determination unit 30d determines the same day with the delivery date or the day added with a predetermined number of days as the guarantee start date, and determines the day with a guarantee term further added to the guarantee start date as the guarantee end date.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
