PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation coincidence detection system and the like dispensing with a coincidence circuit.SOLUTION: A coincidence detection system comprises: a common clock generator 12 which generates a common clock; a plurality of detectors 10, 10which detect the occurrence of an event; A/D converters 11, 11which perform digital conversion of a peak value of an output value by the detector of the event; a data pair formation circuit 16 which forms a data pair of the time based on the common clock indicating the time of occurrence of the event and the peak value subjected to the digital conversion by the A/D converter 11; storage means 14, 14which stores the data pair for each of the detectors 10, 10; and a data pair processing unit 20 which compares the data pair of the time stored for each of the detectors 10, 10and the peak value subjected to digital conversion with data pairs by a plurality of other detectors to detect coincidence of events.
