PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide use of an anti-connexin polynucleotide and an anti-connexin peptide for therapy of abnormal scar or excess scar.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a composition and method for therapy, prevention and mitigation of abnormal scar or excess scar including keloid scar, hypertrophic scar, pervasive (expanded) scar and atrophic (retracted) scar, to a formulation, article and kit comprising such a composition, and to a delivery device. The method and composition comprises a first anti-connexin agent and a second anti-connexin agent, for example, one or more anti-connexin polynucleotides and one or more anti-connexin peptides, or a combination thereof with an anti-connexin peptide mimicking agent, for therapy or prevention of abnormal scar or excess scar, and use thereof.
