PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the dimensional accuracy of an envelope with a loading element in a helix type traveling-wave tube.;SOLUTION: A helix type traveling-wave tube comprises a cylindrical envelope 8, an electron gun mounted at one end of the envelope 8 and radiating electron beam inside the envelope, and a collector mounted at the other end of the envelope 8 and collecting electrons of the electron beam. Plural vanes 11 are formed on an inner face of the envelope 8 in parallel to a shaft of the envelope 8 and integrally with the envelope 8. A helix 2 is arranged inside the envelope 8 coaxially with the envelope 8. The helix 2 is supported away from the envelope 8 by three or more supports 9 interposed between an outer periphery of the helix 2 and the inner face of the envelope 8 while being away from the vanes 11. Then, plural annular pole pieces 4, which are adhesively fixed on the outer surface of the envelope 8 at predetermined intervals in an axial direction of the envelope 8, are provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
