摘要
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly efficiently remove the fine inclusion having a diameter less than 50 μm and causing surface flaws or breakdown when injecting the molten steel in a ladle from an injection nozzle into a tundish.;SOLUTION: A method for removing fine inclusion in a molten steel includes: (x) feeding an inert gas in an injection nozzle 4, and immersing the injection nozzle into the molten steel in a tundish 2 to feed the molten steel; (y) controlling the collision speed V [m/s] of the molten steel to that in the tundish defined by expressions (1), (2) mentioned below to 10 to 20 m/s; and (z) convoluting the inert gas in the injection nozzle into the molten steel to generate 10 pieces/cm3 or more of bubbles 7 having the diameter of 0.1-3.0 mm in the molten steel beneath the lower face of the injection nozzle. Expression (1) is V=[2g(C2HL+HT)+(2C2/ρ)P]0.5 and expression (2) is C=U(2gHL)-0.5 (wherein, U is a dropping speed [m/s] of the molten steel at the outlet side of the ladle; HL is the height [m] of the molten steel in the ladle; HT is the dropping distance [m] between the ladle and the tundish; C is the flow rate coefficient at the outlet side of the ladle; ρ is a molten steel density [kg/m3]; P is (barometric pressure in the ladle)-(that in an outer cylinder) [Pa]; and g is a gravitational acceleration [m/s2]).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
