PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-quality cast product at low cost in a short time.;SOLUTION: A cast rod/pipe manufacturing device 100 includes: a molten metal furnace 10; a hollow tube 20 including a molten metal entry portion 23 to which a molten metal flows; a heating device 70 heating the hollow tube 20; a cooling device 60 cooling the hollow tube 20; a decompression device 30 generating a negative pressure; a connecting member 40 connecting the hollow tube 20 to the decompression device 30; and a valve member 50 that is arranged on the connecting member 40 and that can be freely opened/closed. The valve member 50 is closed, the decompression device 30 reduces a pressure of a part from the valve member 50 to the decompression device 30, an opening portion 25 of the hollow tube 20 is inserted into the molten metal furnace 10, and the valve member 50 is opened, whereby the molten metal entry portion 23 is decompressed to allow the molten metal to flow into the molten metal entry portion 23. The entering molten metal is solidified in the molten metal entry portion 23, thereby manufacturing a long member. The connecting member 40 includes coupling portions 80 that make the hollow tube 20 detachable and lubricant is applied into the hollow tube 20.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
