Method for generating session key for communication application, involves calculating value of Miller function applied to secret key from tokens sent by cryptography unit, and generating session key from calculated value of Miller function
The method involves transmitting tokens obtained from a public parameter from a computing unit (14) e.g. smart phone processor, to a cryptography unit (12) e.g. SD card. A value of a Miller function applied to a secret key is calculated from the tokens sent by the cryptography unit. A session key is generated from the calculated value of the Miller function by calculating an exponentiation of the value of the Miller function. A vertical line of coefficient passing through a point whose value is deducted of the public parameter, is calculated. An independent claim is also included for a cryptography system.
