Battery management method for e.g. electric car, not connected with external energy source i.e. alternating current, involves controlling reheating of battery of vehicle according to value of parameter of charge state of battery
The method involves controlling reheating (311) of a battery of a vehicle i.e. car such as electric car, according to a value of a parameter of a charge state of the battery. The reheating of the battery is provided as a function of an operating condition of the vehicle. A value of expected temperature of the battery is determined if no reheating is carried out, where the expected temperature value is determined according to a value of current temperature of the battery, value of outside temperature and value of moment of beginning of a mission. An independent claim is also included for a battery managing device.
