Rotor for electric machine, has set of polar parts presenting peripheral sides, and side openings delimited by edges bent towards outside, where bent edges of each side opening sandwiches peripheral sides of set of polar parts
The rotor has a set of polar parts (30) such as permanent magnets, where each of the set of polar parts presents a convex and beveled peripheral side (31). Each of a set of coaxial and joined circular plates (10, 20) has a central opening, and a set of side openings that is placed around the central opening. Each side opening is delimited by an edge (12, 22) that is bent towards outside. The bent edges of each side opening sandwiches the peripheral sides of the set of polar parts. The side openings accommodate and immobilize the set of polar parts. The plates are molded and include non-magnetic metallic material. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a rotor.
