The vehicle (1) has seats (4, 5) including two rows (3, 6), and a central console (8) located between the seats of one of the rows of seats upstream from the other row of seats. The central console includes an air-conditioning system adapted for blowing air toward the latter row of seats. The system comprises a casing, a ventilation system and a heat exchanger i.e. evaporator, where the ventilation system and the heat exchanger are mounted inside the casing and arranged vertically one above the other.
