The method involves realizing blind holes (30) in a lower surface (26) of an arch segment (22), where depth of each blind hole is higher than 10 cm. A spatial distribution of the holes on the lower surface of the arch segment is selected for minimize brittleness of the arch segment induced by the production of holes. The holes are distributed along two parallel lines (32), where the dimension between two consecutive holes along the lines is equal to the dimension of a space between the parallel lines. An independent claim is also included for a method for equipping a pipe on a railway tunnel.
