The device (D) has a power supply cable (CE1) provided with a connector (CN1) that is intended to be coupled to another connector (CN2) of another power supply cable (CE2). The former connector and the latter connector are provided in a turntable (PT) that is driven in rotation between one position in which the turntable is located in front of an electric motor, and another position in which the turntable is located behind the electric motor so as to mask the set of connectors after coupling of the connectors with each other. An independent claim is also included for a seat.
