Protection device for protecting connection cable of proximity sensor for coupler of tank car connection arm of hydrocarbon loading system, has coupling placed at fixing points of rigid tubular portion on portion of loading arm
The device (1) has a set of rigid tubular portions (4) secured to rigid portions (17) of loading arm (3), where the tubular portions house a connecting cable. Flexible tubular portions (5) connect the rigid tubular portions, where the flexible tubular portions are placed at an articulation (19) of the loading arm. A coupling (7) is placed on a connection between one of the flexible tubular portions and one of the rigid tubular portions. The coupling is placed at fixing points (9) of the rigid tubular portion on a portion of the loading arm. An independent claim is also included for a hydrocarbon loading system.
