The arrangement has a window guide rail (18) that is arranged in a sealing element (30) formed of a foam partially located between an outer casing element (14) and a mirror base (12). The outer edge area (32) of the sealing element supported by the outer casing element, is folded around a portion of an edge (34) of the window guide rail. The portion of the edge of the window guide rail is covered in a vehicle longitudinal direction toward the rear by the outer casing element.
