The bearing (10) comprises an elastomer element (12) having a membrane (20) through which the two chambers (22,24) for receiving a damping fluid used for damping through relative movement between the assembly and the movement of elastomer element, are partially separated from one another. One of the contact surfaces (36,38) of the support elements (32,34) is provided with roughness, such that abrasion of the membrane is selectively effected, by the contacting movement of the membrane with the abrasion surface of the contact surface.
