Cosmetic agent comprises at least two phases separated from one another by a phase boundary, where the first phase is an aqueous phase containing at least one chemical oxidizing agent, and the second phase is a hydrophobic oil phase containing at least 60 wt.% of 2-ethylhexyl palmitate. Independent claims are included for: (1) kit of parts comprising at least two prefabricated container separated from each other, where the first container contains a cosmetic composition, the second container includes a color change preparation containing at least one color-changing component, preferably at least one oxidation dye precursor in a cosmetic carrier; and (2) changing the color of keratin fibers, preferably human hair, comprising combining the two agents in one of the containers from the kit of parts, then shakening the resealed container, and subsequently applying the color-changing agent to the fibers for a contact time of 5-60 minutes on the fibers and then rinsing out. ACTIVITY : Endocrine-Gen. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
