The optical temperature sensor system (1) has a laser light source (3) for generating laser light of a predetermined frequency with a laser light emission optics (7). The laser light emission optics is arranged in a measuring head (5), and the measuring head has a focusing optics (15) common for the laser light emission optics and a receiving device (9). The focusing optics is provided for focusing the laser light on a measuring volume (110) and guiding the scattered light to the receiving device by the laser light in the measuring volume.
