Turbine housing for radial turbine wheel, particularly for turbocharger, has inlet channel and guide surface arranged on inlet channel near end of spiral chamber or arc chamber to introduce flow layer into input flow
The turbine housing (1) has an inlet channel (7), which is tangential to the circumference of the turbine wheel and communicates with an outlet that is concentric to the wheel axis. A guide surface (8) is arranged on the inlet channel near end of the spiral chamber or the arc chamber to introduce the flow layer into the input flow. The flow layer is provided at the end of the spiral chamber or the arc chamber that is aligned to the input flow.
