Method for increasing efficiency of adjustable hydraulic pump of gear box, involves driving gear box by comparing delivery rates of pump to reach current demand for oil and shortening switching times by reducing pressure break-down
The method involves adjusting a delivery rate of a adjustable hydraulic pump of a gear box based on position of the adjustable hydraulic pump and the actual delivery rate of the adjustable hydraulic pump. The gear box is driven by comparing target delivery rate and the actual delivery rate of the adjustable hydraulic pump to reach current demand for sufficing oil for delivery rate requests. The switching times are shortened by reducing pressure break-down. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling of an adjustable hydraulic pump of a gear box.
