Formwork element for use as prefabricated unit of ring girder casing in construction site, has reinforcing cage arranged between formwork boards, and spacers for fixing minimum distance between cage and respective formwork board
The element has a reinforcing cage (12) arranged between two formwork boards (10), and connectors (18) for interconnecting the formwork boards. The cage is supported on one of the connectors, and spacers (24) are separated from the connectors and fastened at one of the formwork boards. The spacers fix a standard minimum distance between the cage and the respective formwork board. The cage comprises multiple longitudinal bars (14) that are connected by cross elements (16). The longitudinal bars are connected to a tubular structure in a form of a ring or U-shaped bracket.
