Manufacturing a hollow component comprises: providing a first hollow body (3) comprising a metal or a metal alloy; inserting a second hollow body (5) comprising synthetic material, into the first hollow body; introducing a third hollow body (7) having a metal or a metal alloy, into the second hollow body, such that a hollow arrangement (1) is formed on the outside of the first hollow body; and expanding the hollow arrangement by hydro-forming molding and forming a hollow component of the hollow structure. An independent claim is also included for a hollow component comprising an outer, first hollow body, an inner, third hollow body and a second hollow body arranged between the first hollow body and the third hollow body, where the first hollow body and the third hollow body is of metal or a metal alloy, second hollow body comprises a plastic, and the hollow bodies are connected by internal high-pressure forming together with the hollow component.
