Diagnostic method for electric machine of motor vehicle, involves determining impedance of coils of stator in angular positions, and stopping it on occurrence of electric error of respective coil
The diagnostic method involves inculcating predetermined electric power (i-U) in a stator in multiple angular positions of a rotor relative to the stator of an electric machine (4) during stoppage of the rotor of the electric machine, where a voltage (u-UW) existing in the stator based on the inculcated voltage is measured. An impedance (Z-UV) of coils (L1 to L3) of the stator is determined in the angular positions, and is stopped on occurrence of an electric error of the respective coil, when a deviation of the determined impedance from a reference impedance exists.
