Collision warning apparatus for motor vehicle, particularly for detecting objects in surroundings of motor vehicle, is constructed to change timing of issuance of warning for object that is classified as warning relevant
The collision warning apparatus (1) is constructed to change the timing of the issuance of a warning for an object that is classified as a warning relevant. The driving state data of the objects in the surrounding of a motor vehicle (2) is continuously detected, and a predefined time point is determined using the detected data. The predefined time point is a calculated time interval until the collision with the object. The objects are classified as warning relevant, and are located in a predicted driving path of the motor vehicle. The output of the warning issued with the flashing signals.
