System for production and distribution of electric power in an area, has electric energy conversion facilitates located close to consumers of energy, so that long term storable energy sources are consumed by additional consumers
The system has power plants (1-4) for providing power to consumers (6-9) of electric energy through unitary power transmission line. Facilities (10-12) for conversion of electric energy into long term storable energy sources and conversion of storable sources of energy into electricity are attached to the power transmission line. The conversion facilitates are located close to the consumers of the energy, so that long term storable energy sources are consumed by additional consumers.
