The method involves connecting a film (2) i.e. thermoplastic thin layer film, with a carrier part (1) i.e. C-shaped pillar linings, where the film is larger than a composite surface (7) that is attached with the carrier part. The film is trimmed. A film projection (3) is attached at the carrier part. Heat is introduced on the film projection, where contactless heat entry is carried out through infrared radiation or laser light and the film projection is reduced by the heat entry. Trimming process is carried out by a laser, an ultrasound knife and a stamping machine. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a film (2) a carrier part.
