Foreign matter detection device for use in field chopper to harvest crops, has analysis device for accommodating signal of foreign matter based on correlation value that is produced between signals of modification and vibration sensors
The device has a throughput modification sensor (70) for detecting temporal modification of throughput in a flow-through channel. An analysis device (78) is connected with the modification sensor to generate a foreign body signal value. A vibration sensor (72) detects an impact of a foreign matter i.e. stone, at an area, where the signal is transferred to the analysis device. The analysis device accommodates a signal of the foreign matter based on a temporal correlation value that is produced between the signals of the modification sensor and signals of the vibration sensor.
