Textile stent for patient, has orientation unit comprising thread without metallic coating and/or thread coated with amount of metal smaller than metal-coated thread on outer surface of stent at outer side of orientation unit
The stent has a metal coating made from silver, and a linearly designed orientation unit extending on an outer surface of the stent in a longitudinal direction. The orientation unit has a thread without metallic coating and/or a thread coated with an amount of metal smaller than metal-coated thread on the outer surface of the stent at an outer side of the orientation unit. The orientation unit is formed with a coating that is removed by water and/or organic solvent, where the stent has inner diameter of preferably 4 to 40 mm. The thread is made from perfluorinated polymer. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a textile stent.
