The receiver (100) has a receiving unit (101) receiving two signals (103, 104) of radio technologies. A control module (102) monitors a quality of one signal, and mixes the signal of one radio technology with the other signal of radio technology to form a mixed audio signal on the basis of a result of monitoring the quality of the former signal. A synchronization module (107) is designed for performing a time synchronization of two signals of the radio technologies. The control module is designed for continuous monitoring of a quality of the two signals. An independent claim is also included for a method for providing a mixed audio signal.
