Method for obtaining quality data relating to information of switching times/conditions of traffic lights and/or variable message signs, involves comparing actual and expected states of traffic lights and/or variable message signs
The information over switching time and/or switching condition of traffic light/variable message sign which is passable by vehicle at the next time, is retrieved to determine expected state of lights/sign. The actual and expected states are compared. The quality data containing information indicating that discrepancy between expected and actual states has occurred, and information about time and light/sign at which gap has occurred is created is recorded in memory and is transmitted to backend device (2) if actual condition does not match expected state. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) vehicle; (2) backend device; and (3) system for obtaining quality data relating to information about switching times and/or switching conditions of traffic lights and/or variable message signs, in vehicle.
