The heating element (100) comprises a partial electrical conductive injection-molded plastic portion (200) that is electrically connected with a metallic contact element (300). The metallic contact element is over-molded area by area and is partially enclosed such that a surface (310) of the metallic contact element is formed with a structure. The metallic contact member is made of metal or metal alloys of copper, nickel plated copper, silvered copper, gilded copper, tinned copper, galvanized copper, or aluminum, gold or silver. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method for manufacturing heating element; and (2) fluid filter e.g. fuel filter.
