Suspended holding device (5) for at least one dough piece (3), comprises an elongated cover body extending in a longitudinal direction, and many circumferential dough piece-bearing elements. The elongated cover body is connected with a conveyor (6), which conveys many suspended holding devices. The conveyor is rotatable around a rotational axis along a rotational direction, which is parallel to its longitudinal direction. The elongated cover body encloses a body cover interior. The elongated cover body comprises many circumferentially closed cover body perforations. Suspended holding device (5) for at least one dough piece (3), comprises an elongated cover body extending in a longitudinal direction, and many circumferential dough piece-bearing elements. The elongated cover body is connected with a conveyor (6), which conveys many suspended holding devices. The conveyor is rotatable around a rotational axis along a rotational direction, which is parallel to its longitudinal direction. The elongated cover body encloses a body cover interior. The elongated cover body comprises many circumferentially closed cover body perforations. The circumferential dough piece-bearing element comprises a bearing region for at least one dough piece. The circumferential dough piece-bearing elements are oriented perpendicular to the rotational axis and adjacently arranged parallel to the rotational axis. The cover body perforations are arranged in many cover body perforation-rows parallel to the rotational axis. Many cover body perforation-rows are arranged along the rotational direction mutually spaced with a rotational angle with respect to the rotational axis. The dough piece-bearing elements are inserted in the cover body perforations.
