The light-guiding element (10) has a light entry surface (12) for the entry of light in the light-guiding element and a light exit surface (14) spaced from the light entry surface, by which the light guided in the light-guiding element is exit. A light guiding surface (20,22) has a shaft structure element (24) which has curve sections with different gradient, where the curve sections are connected to each other in a longitudinal section along the development from the light entry surface to light exit surface. An independent claim is included for a light guide with a light guide body.
