Method for operation or interpretation of plant e.g. thermal power station, involves creating or modifying model of plant or portion of position based on state variables with respect to time duration of component activity of plant
The method involves detecting (401) time duration concerning an activity of a component of a plant using state variables. A model of the plant or a portion of the position is created or modified (402) based on the state variables with respect to the time duration. The operation or interpretation of the plant is optimized (403) based on the model of the plant. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) device for operation or interpretation of plant; (2) system operation or interpretation of plant; (3) computer program product operation or interpretation of plant; and (4) machine-readable medium storing program operation or interpretation of plant.
