The method involves determining the two-dimensional contour (K) of the diaphragm (9) of an organism (8) in the X-ray images (B) by a computer (1). The corresponding sequence of parameter sets for a programmable model (11) of the diaphragm is determined for the sequence of X-ray images. The sequence of parameter sets for a programmable model of the diaphragm is set at low frequency. The programmable model of the corresponding X-ray images consisted of two-dimensional contour of the diaphragm. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a computer program for investigating respective position of diaphragm of organism; and (2) a computer for investigating respective position of diaphragm of organism.
