The fuse (10) has a fuse link (30) i.e. zinc sheet, made of an electrical conductive material i.e. metal, and a two-piece housing (20) made of an electrically non-conductive material and partially enclosing the fuse link. The fuse link comprises two bases (35, 36) and a melting section (33), where two ends of the melting sections open into the two bases, respectively. The melting section electrically connects the two bases. A permanent magnet (40) e.g. ferrite magnet and neodymium magnet, is arranged such that a magnetic field of the magnet is influenced by the melting section.
