The two-way vehicle (1) is formed of two partial vehicles (2,4), which are connected by an articulated joint (5). The partial vehicles have two axes (8) which are raised up to a road axis (7) for the road operation. The two way vehicle is hinged in road operation by the articulated joint. The wheels of the road axis of the two partial vehicles are driven with independent speed. The axes of the partial vehicles are lifted by a lifting device, particularly an electric or hydraulic lifting device.
