The loop (15) has a carrier side cover plate (10a) and a machine side cover plate (10b) that are provided with a polymeric material comprising elastic properties. An electrically conductive structure or material is arranged in the loop, where the loop is enclosed in the carrier side cover plate and in the machine side cover plate by an electrically conductive fabric insulation. The insulation is arranged with a coating or an encapsulation, and is arranged with an elastomer hose or a heat shrink sleeve. An independent claim is also included for a conveyer belt.
