Method for determining deformation of semi-finished fiber product sample during manufacturing of fiber reinforced composite element in aeronautical field, involves calculating deformation based on shape of element and elongation parameter
The method involves performing experimental determination of a deformation of semi-finished fiber product sample (1) along a thickness direction (6) outside a plane of main fibers by using a measurement device (2) during manufacturing of a sample of fiber reinforced composite element from the sample infiltrated with a matrix resin. An elongation parameter is determined from the deformation. The deformation is calculated according to a shape of the composite element and the parameter by a calculation unit (7) during manufacturing of the composite element.
