In endurance training there is no solution for automated training control that takes into account the individual physiological requirements and goals and is practicable for everyone. This requires a compact, mobile, reliable and intuitively applicable, interactive biofeedback system that permanently interacts with the user and uses both the multimodal physiological data and adequate reference data to ensure validity and reliability. iT-Shirt analyzes the physiological state through “invisible” textile sensors that are “invisible” to the user and forwards this data to the smartphone via a click-electrode micro USB interface. Due to the interface, no additional energy supply for the T-shirt is necessary, this is done via the smartphone. The application on the smartphone displays the physiological stress in real time. The data is processed using a specially developed algorithm that takes the individual's physiological data into account and compares it with a reference database that contains reference values and training recommendations from over 3,000 test subjects (recreational athletes, patients and competitive athletes) and through the use of every iT-Shirt user is automatically expanded.
