Method for determining leakage in vehicle i.e. rail vehicle, involves determining effective ranges directed to spray nozzles toward potential leaks according to test catalog, and detecting entry of water into vehicle inner space
The method involves assigning a test catalog of a motor vehicle having the collected most common leaks of vehicle types. A carrier arm of an irrigation device is provided with deposited leak position spray nozzles. Effective ranges of the spray nozzles toward potential leaks are determined according to the test catalog. Entry of water into vehicle inner space is detected. Moisture in a retreating long wall system of a vehicle interior fitting is detected. Leak is blocked to complete vehicle irrigation during moisture test. Leaks in a closure are recognized.
