Apparatus for production of chemically bound energy from wind energy, mounted in floating structure in shape of ship, has tanks arranged releasably in floating structure and are interchangeable for removal of chemically bound energy
The apparatus comprises propulsion generators (3-6) for producing an advance of the floating structure (1) by wind energy, and a propulsion receiver (15) for converting the driving power into rotational energy. An energy converter (19) comprises a methanation system (21) and a compression system for promotion of methane produced in the tanks (20) and for generating a designated pressure, and/or an intended temperature in the tanks. The tanks are arranged releasably in the floating structure and are interchangeable for removal of chemically bound energy.
