The device (1) has a vibrating element (11) which is excited to vibrate through relative displacement of two vehicle components (3,5) to each other. The vehicle components are fixed to one another via a longitudinal hole connection (7). The longitudinal hole connection permits a displacement of the vehicle components to each other along a longitudinal hole (9) of the longitudinal hole connection above a threshold force. The former vehicle component is a radiator frame of the vehicle.
