The entry aid has a ramp (3) extendible below a tailgate (2) of a motor vehicle (1), where ramp is insertable into a loading space (4) of the car. The ramp is designed to be rotatable such that the rear end of the ramp in the pulled-out state comes to rest below the sill of the tailgate. The ramp is withdrawn by using rails, and the rear end of the ramp is covered by a cover in the retracted state of the ramp. The ramp is formed in the form of a lattice frame, where the ramp is made of aluminum or plastic.
