The method involves providing a set of fins with multiple annular disk-shaped friction plates (10). A rotatory relative alignment of friction plates is chosen to compensate variations of alignment parameter over axial length of a disk pack. Local spring stiffness (F) and/or shaft amplitude (A) at a location of extremity of waves is used as alignment parameters of the friction plates. The friction plates are formed as corrugated lamellae with sinusoidal waves of an annular disk extended along circumferential direction. An independent claim is also included for a disk pack.
