Double clutch transmission for drive train of motor vehicle, has gearwheel planes arranged successively along main extension direction, and eight switching units forming eight forward gears
The transmission has first and second powershift clutches (C1, C2) connected with eight shiftable forward gears. First input shaft (11) attached to first powershift clutch is connected with second input shaft (12) attached to second power-shift clutch. Two parallel input shafts offset countershafts (13, 14). Five gearwheel planes (Z1-Z5) are successively arranged along main extension direction. Eight switching units (S1-S8) form eight forward gears. An output gear (Z11) is rotationally connected to one of the countershafts.
