The turbine (10) has a turbine housing (12) comprising a receiving space (14), and a turbine wheel (16) rotatable around a rotational axis (18). Two spiral segments (20, 22) are arranged one behind the other in a circumferential direction. Spiral inlet cross-sections (Asa0, Asb0) of the segments are arranged at an initial angle (psiB0). Ends of the segments are arranged at a final angle (psiBE). An equation related to the segments describes a relation between a passage area of the segments, the cross-sections, the initial and final angles and an exponent that amounts to 2.
