The method involves combining a metal layer (2) with a fiber portion (1) to form a specific compound (3). The specific compound is embedded in a polymer portion (5) and is subjected to curing process to manufacture a workpiece (6). The manufactured workpiece is examined with the imaging processes to determine the penetration of the fiber portion and the polymer portion, and to determine the mapping of the metal layer.
