The device (2) has two display panels (4, 6) directly arranged adjacent to each other, and including a common boundary (26). The display panels are arranged below an angle of larger than 0 degree and smaller than 180 degrees or larger than 180 degrees and smaller than 360 degrees at the common boundary relative to each other. A graphical object displayed by the device is continuously displaced over the common boundary. The display panels are pivoted around the common boundary, and enclose a transparent body (7), which is made of glass.
