The bandage (10) has bandage portions (12) reciprocally connected to a wound covering (11) that comprises an air-permeable layer. The air-permeable layer comprises two opposing surfaces that are spaced at distance to each other by meander-like running threads to be arranged between the surfaces. The opposing surfaces are made of an air-permeable material, a strike-friendly material and a Velcro (RTM: hook and loop fastener) enabled material. The threads are welded together and/or merged with the opposing surfaces, where the bandage is made of a resilient material.
