The method involves detecting an operating condition of heat generators (10, 20) to be activated. Conveyor capability of a feed pump (30) is adjusted in dependence of highly demanded minimum volumetric flows (V1, V2) of the activated heat generators. An overflow valve (51) is overflowed with the heat carrier medium (M) if the highly demanded minimum volumetric flow of the heat generators is larger than a volumetric flow (VT) decreased by a heat exchanging device (40). One of the heat generators is designed as heating pump (11), where another heat generator is fired with fossil fuel. An independent claim is also included for a fluid circuit.
